Rix & Kay Appoints Sally Mouhim as Partner and Head of Dispute Resolution

Rix & Kay is pleased to announce the appointment of Sally Mouhim as Partner and Head of the firm’s Dispute Resolution practice, based at the firm’s Brighton & Hove office. Sally will lead a team of three lawyers and a dedicated support team, driving forward the firm’s strategic growth in commercial dispute resolution.
With over 20 years of domestic and international experience, Sally brings a wealth of expertise in handling high-value, complex commercial disputes. Since joining Rix & Kay, she has already played a significant role in strengthening the practice and is now set to further expand its presence across Sussex and Kent.
This appointment marks another milestone in Rix & Kay’s growth journey, following a series of strategic promotions and hires announced in April. It reinforces the firm’s reputation as a leading law firm across the South East.

Its core strengths lie in advising on high-value, complex commercial disputes, with clients including large SMEs and some of the region’s leading professional services firms. The team also boasts specialist expertise in contested trusts and probate.
Sally’s specialist areas include:
- Corporate disputes (including breaches of Directors’ fiduciary duties, unfair prejudice, derivative claims, shareholder agreements and corporate fraud)
- Partnership disputes
- General commercial disputes, including contract and tort claims
- Intellectual property disputes
- Commercial property disputes
- Defamation and negligent misstatement
