Making a payment
There are a number of convenient ways that you can pay an invoice or send us money on account.

Important: Payments are 100% secure. All payments must be in GBP Sterling and may take up to 2 days to clear onto our account.
Online payments are accepted for the following:
- Start Up Funds (Conveyancing Transactions)
- Initial Money On account
- Payment of your invoice
- Payment for future costs and disbursements
Pay by card
You can pay by card over the telephone or in any of our offices.
Call 01825 761555 to pay over the telephone
Visit any of our offices to pay in branch
Pay by bank transfer
Payment details can be found in your engagement letter or on the back of your invoice
Important information about your payment
When remitting funds please note that the monies must be sent from an account in the name of our client or they may have to be returned.
Quote your matter reference number
Whether you are paying online, by card of by bank transfer, always quote your unique matter reference so we can allocate the payment against your invoice or client file. Your reference will be in this format, ABC/A1234/1 or your invoice number will be in this format 123456 and can be found at the top right of your invoice, or on any correspondence from us. If you can’t locate this information, please request it from your solicitor or you can contact us by calling 01825 761555 or by email at enquiries@rixandkay.co.uk
We do not accept payments for the following
- Deposits for a property purchase
- Balance required to complete a property transaction
We reserve the right to decline any online payment
Please do not attempt to pay any of the unaccepted payments listed above as they will be rejected and monies may still be shown as pending in your account which could delay your transaction. If you are uncertain that your payment meets the above criteria, please contact the person dealing with your file, of contact the firm on the details listed above.
