Later Life Team Assistant

Wendy is a key member of the firm’s Later Life Team based in Brighton & Hove and has more than 13 years experience of assisting elderly clients with the general management of their affairs, Court of Protection matters, preparation of Lasting Powers of Attorney and the registration of Enduring Powers of Attorney with the Office of the Public Guardian.

As well as legal support Wendy also works closely with individuals and their families helping them to manage everyday issues as part of the firm’s care planning and concierge services.  She has also acted as an Advocate in regard to care home assessments when family members are not able to assist, normally due to geographical reasons.

Wendy’s clients are typically individuals approaching later life who are already in a care environment.   In addition to the high level of support she provides to individuals, she also maintains numerous professional relationships with leading care experts, care homes, local authorities and the CQC, as well as a network of skilled trades people who she can call upon should emergency household issues arise.
