Stefan Banks


Stefan is a member of the firm’s Commercial Property Team in Uckfield. He has experience in dealing with a wide range of residential and commercial property and has a lot of experience in dealing with small local developers.


Stefan has acted for a wide range of clients across a whole spectrum of property related matters, from standard residential property transactions and Lease Extensions to Commercial Option Agreements, Overage Agreements, Landlord and Tenant and refinancing work.

Experience and approach

Stefan has a particular expertise in dealing with new property developments. He has acted on behalf of small developers in selling newly built properties across the country. Furthermore, he has acted on behalf of a number of clients purchasing new build properties on some of the larger local developments where he was recommended by those involved.

Stefan’s wide experience in property matters ensures that clients interests are correctly looked after and, due to his modern approach, his clients are always kept fully updated as to the position and timescales of their transaction.

Stefan’s work

New-Build Development in Battle
Stefan acted on behalf of a developer in the sale of 4 newly-built properties in Battle. As with most new developments, a deadline was set on each of the Purchasers to exchange within a 28-day period. Stefan kept in close contact with the client and prioritised effectively to ensure that the purchasers would be in a position to meet this deadline.

Stefan acted on behalf of a private landlord who, due to a sudden change of circumstances, urgently required a bridging loan to be taken out over 2 properties within a fortnight. Stefan was again able to effectively prioritise in order to ensure that all the requirements of the Lending Company were met swiftly in order to meet the necessary timescale.
