Sara is a trainee solicitor currently undertaking a seat in the Corporate and Commercial Team and is currently supervised by Partner Kathryn Paisley.
Sara has both Property Litigation and Dispute Resolution experience and prior to starting her training contract Sara worked closely with the firm’s Dispute Resolution Partners, Richard Ludlow and Dan Sherlock. Sara specialised in commercial litigation and supported clients in relation to a wide range of commercial disputes which often eventuated in the County Court and specialist divisions of the High Court.
Sara has worked on behalf of both private and commercial clients in relation to their claims predominantly for breaches of contracts as well as disputes in the areas of construction, property and professional negligence.
Dispute Resolution Experience and approach
Sara is skilled at recognising when a claim may be brought and is able to advise clients on the most appropriate approach, including options for pre-action to bring the claim to settlement as early as possible negating the need for further legal costs. Her ability to guide clients in this way, by narrowing down the issues often resolves disputes without needing to commence formal legal proceedings.
In the event legal proceedings are necessary, Sara is equipped with the knowledge to guide clients through the most effective steps to resolve issues quickly and cost effectively in the courts and regularly attends and supports clients at hearings and trials.
