Sara Nazir

Trainee Solicitor

Sara is a trainee solicitor currently undertaking a seat in the Commercial Property team and is supervised by Partner Stewart Gregory.

Sara’s previous seat was with our Corporate and Commercial Team where she was supervised by Partner Kathryn Paisley.

Prior to starting her training contract Sara worked closely with the firm’s Dispute Resolution Partners, Richard Ludlow and Dan Sherlock. Sara specialised in commercial litigation and supported clients in relation to a wide range of commercial disputes taking place in both the County Court and specialist divisions of the High Court.

Corporate & Commercial

Sara assists the Corporate and Commercial Team whom regularly act for small and medium sized companies in connection with their corporate transactions. These range from share and asset sale/purchases to drafting commercial contracts. Sara also assists Partner Tim Sadka in connection with refinancing transactions with clients seeking to secure funding from financiers.

Dispute Resolution

Sara has also worked on behalf of both private and commercial clients in relation to their claims predominantly for breaches of contracts as well as disputes in the areas of construction, property and professional negligence.

Using her previous Dispute Resolution experience, Sara identifies potential issues arising within corporate transactions from a litigious aspect and resolves them early.

Dispute Resolution

Sara is skilled at recognising when a claim may be brought and is able to advise clients on the most appropriate approach, including options for pre-action to bring the claim to settlement as early as possible negating the need for further legal costs.  Her ability to guide clients in this way, by narrowing down the issues often resolves disputes without needing to commence formal legal proceedings.

In the event legal proceedings are necessary, Sara is equipped with the knowledge to guide clients through the court process whilst also implementing the most effective steps to resolve issues quickly and cost effectively for clients.
