Nusrat has over eight years experience of Corporate and Commercial law and is part of Rix & Kay’s Corporate Team based in Uckfield. She has developed an outstanding reputation of helping businesses to manage all their corporate affairs, from high value M&A work and share acquisitions and disposals, to general corporate advisory work.
Having previously worked for a major mid-market and London firm, Nusrat also has extensive experience of capital markets including IPOs on AIM and the junior markets, and private equity placings of shares and admission to listing on the junior market of the London Stock Exchange.
Nusrat supports a wide range of businesses from both private and public companies to start ups, family businesses and private individuals who are looking to take the next step to realise their strategic objectives, whether it be the raising of finance, acquisition or an exit strategy, or just ensuring that their business has in place robust corporate structures. Nusrat recently completed the sale of the entire issued share capital of a leading charity consultancy and provider of legacy administration in the UK. The deal was structured as cash and deferred consideration.

Nusrat has worked as part of teams advising on numerous flotations/initial public offerings and new issues on AIM, the PLUS market and the Official List of the London Stock Exchange. She has advised companies seeking a new listing and those already listed and has also acted for stockbrokers and nominated advisors on company director duties, regulatory matters, take-overs and mergers, rights issues and related party transactions.
