“The dispute resolution team advises large SME businesses and professional service firms, particularly accountants, on a range of commercial litigation”.
“From my dealings with the firm, as counsel instructed by them, I would describe them as friendly, helpful, relaxed, informal, sensible and practical to deal with. I suspect they are a very sound firm, when compared with some of the flashier but potentially less diligent and less attentive regional firms that you can find in the Surrey, Kent and Sussex corridor down from London”.
“As counsel I’ve really appreciated having a solicitor who I can work with and discuss things with and get real input from”.
Received some advice from Katie regarding a terminating and interpreting a tenancy agreement. She gave good, clear advice. She asked to review some documentation and did so in a timely manner. I appreciate how responsive she was, and how practical the advice given was. I would absolutely reach out to them again if another real estate matter arises.
Rix & Kay (Katie McClean) acted for me in a dispute, and secured settlement on more favourable terms than I believed were possible. I was overjoyed. They are friendly, yet professional, with excellent communications, and provide appropriate explanations of the relevant legal issues. I have no hesitation in recommending the firm.
Katie McClean and her team have managed to achieve in just 2 weeks what I have been trying to do for the last 2 years. They are very efficient, friendly and very easy to deal with. The previous legal team I engaged to help were 3 times as expensive and over 3 months achieved nothing. Rix & Kay and the wonderful Katie, however, obviously know how to handle non responsive executors and their legal team without the massive outlay of courts and barristers. I can’t thank you enough for all your help. I would recommend Rix & Kay to all.
