Trainee Solicitor

Jonathan is a trainee solicitor in Rix & Kay’s Dispute Resolution team. He supports and assists the team with a wide range of disputes for commercial clients and private individuals.

Experience and approach

Jonathan has a broad range of commercial experience, having previously worked in-house for a leading global media and entertainment company assisting with the drafting of commercial agreements and data protection compliance in the build up to and post-implementation of GDPR.

Jonathan graduated from Swansea University in 2012 with a Law degree, and from Sussex University in 2014 with a Masters degree in International Commercial Law.

Jonathan has completed a seat in our Corporate & Commercial team, working with company owners and directors on corporate and commercial transactions. He provided invaluable support to businesses undertaking the next stage of strategic development plans, including merger and acquisition. His emphasis on developing a strong understanding of a business’s operations and the individuals who run them allows him to develop strong working relationships and deliver considered legal support that is tailored to meet the needs of those he advises.
