Jamie is a corporate lawyer in the Rix & Kay Corporate and Commercial team, working primarily in our Sevenoaks office.
Having worked and trained in London, Sussex and Kent, Jamie has experience advising clients across a spectrum of matters including general corporate advisory matters and specialises in the sale and acquisition of privately owned businesses or companies.
Experience and approach
Jamie has worked with companies adapting to an increasingly competitive landscape and has experience working with family run business owners, entrepreneurs and private equity backed clients. Jamie also has experience working primarily for a client as a lead solicitor supporting the company’s buy and build growth strategy. Based on this foundation, Jamie is able to take a commercial solutions-focused approach when working with clients and works collaboratively with other lawyers and advisors to achieve the best outcome for her clients.

Assisted as part of the wider corporate team that was advising the shareholders of Construct on a majority share sale to Melbourne-based company, Online Education Services. Construct is a global leader in online learning design, with locations in London, the USA and South Africa.
Supported the corporate head of department who acted for Stephen King in his sale of Charlton Athletic Women’s Football Club Limited. The deal saw ultimate ownership of the Club move to Thomas Sandgaard, meaning that both the men’s and women’s clubs are now under the same ownership for the first time since 2007.
