Georgina Henderson
– Solicitor –
Georgina attended Bournemouth University for her undergraduate degree, and the University of Law in London, before qualifying as a solicitor in March 2022 and joining Rix & Kay’s Commercial Property Team in 2024.
Based in the firm’s Brighton & Hove office, Georgina has experience across a broad range of commercial property transactions ranging from city lease transactions, to sales of agricultural land.
Georgina’s clients
Georgina works closely with both landlords and tenants, to identify and understand their priorities, to enable their objectives to be achieved. She also acts for landowners and those looking to purchase agricultural land, as well as dealing with other rural transactions such as farm tenancy agreements.

Georgina has an established reputation of guiding her clients through every step of their transaction using plain English. This enables her clients to be confident that they will be kept fully updated as to the position, timescales and cost of their transaction.

Leases
Acting for various Landlord’s in relation to leasing their warehouse units on an estate.
Acting for Landlord’s in respect of shop units where the freehold title needed to be tidied up in respect of expired registered leases prior to the new lease being entered into.
Acting for Tenant’s in respect of shop units in central Brighton.
Dead of easements
Successfully navigated and completed a tripartite Deed of Easement between neighbours not on the best of terms, in relation to upgraded Septic Tanks to be installed, avoiding the need for contentious litigation.
Property refinancing
Successfully completing a refinancing of a leasehold property subject to underleases, which themselves needed to be renewed and amended in accordance with the lender requirements prior to completion.
