Angela Arnold

Angela is Head of Rix & Kay’s Residential Property team and based in the firm’s Brighton & Hove office. With more than 10 years’ experience of managing residential property transactions, she is regularly praised by clients and peers for her outstanding client care and professional approach.

As well as her technical expertise, Angela plays a pro-active role in the regional community and maintains strong relationships with many prominent estate agents in Brighton & Hove and Sussex. She works closely with a number of local cricket clubs and supports organisations across the County to encourage clubs to develop their diversity and inclusivity of female and BAME members. She also mentors for the Brighton University (BAME programme).

Angela deals with the entire range of property sales and purchases and has particular expertise in advising medium to high net worth individuals, property investors and divorced or separated individuals who may need to manage property assets both efficiently and quickly. She also has specific expertise in Equity Release and leads the firm’s membership of the Equity Release Council

Completion of a land transaction following boundary dispute

Angela worked with a landowner on the sale of land where there was a dispute over boundaries between the adjoining estate. Angela led negotiations, keeping the client informed at all times, to enable a transfer of boundary ownership and the subsequent smooth completion of the sale.

Completion of house sale for a divorced couple

Angela advised a client on the sale of a property following divorce. Not only did her professional expertise ensure the sale was completed in good time under the conditions of divorce and subsequent tax implications, but her collaborative approach meant the client was fully supported during a time that was both sensitive and stressful.
