Information for our clients and visitors – visiting our offices

If you are a supplier making a delivery or collection, please ensure you read our guidance here

This page provides information specifically for clients and other visitors who wish to visit our offices.

Visiting Rix & Kay’s offices

Our offices are open. We strongly advise making an appointment if you need to meet with any of our team face-to-face. To arrange an appointment please contact us where a member of our reception team will be available to help you.

Before you attend your pre-arranged appointment

Rix & Kay has implemented a Covid-19 Secure Workplace Policy. You will be asked to confirm that you have read Rix & Kay’s safe and secure workplace information that outlines the provisions made to ensure a safe and secure workplace for anyone visiting our offices.

You will also be asked to confirm that you are not presenting any Covid-19 symptoms and have not been exposed to any potential high-risk circumstances.

Face coverings

We continue to encourage all visitors to Rix & Kay offices to wear a face covering other than where exemptions apply. Guidance on face covering exemptions is available here

Arriving for your pre-arranged appointment

Friends and family – Any meeting will only accommodate those individuals that are required to be present. If you bring friends or family members who are not required to attend the meeting then they may be asked to wait outside if (for example) 2m distancing cannot be accommodated.

Reception areas (Uckfield) – Our reception area is now open and a member of our team will be available to welcome you to our office and help you with any pre-arranged meeting.

Reception areas (Brighton & Hove and Sevenoaks) – Intercoms are available on the main entrances of both our Brighton & Hove and Sevenoaks offices. Please use the intercom to speak to a member of our team (during normal working hours) who will be available to welcome visitors, provide access and help with any pre-arranged meetings.

Meeting rooms – Your meeting will be held in an appropriate meeting room with a specified maximum capacity. Seating will be marked out and a direction of use notice will be provided within the room, which should be followed unless all attendees have agreed to alternative arrangements.

Documentation and stationery – If you are required to sign documents during the meeting you will be provided with a single use pen that is then taken away. Alternatively, you may bring your own pen.

Refreshments – We are able to offer you refreshments during your meeting and the staff member hosting your meeting is responsible for the removal of the used cups and glasses from the meeting room afterwards for cleaning.
