Working with Rix & Kay during this difficult time

18th March 2020

The welfare of everyone during these difficult times, including our clients, our friends and our colleagues, is Rix & Kay’s primary concern. To support this, we are taking every step possible to ensure that anyone who needs our assistance is able to contact us and gain access to our services, in a way that reduces to the extent possible, the obvious risks presented by the global impact of Covid-19.

Our offices are currently closed but we remain here to support you

All our offices are now closed until further notice but our reception lines and all our lawyers and staff continue to be available for you to speak with. Please note, office closures are only a temporary measure and one that will be kept under constant review. All correspondence including traditional post, inbound telephone calls and emails are being diverted accordingly and all enquiries will be answered.

How to contact Rix & Kay

Like most businesses, wherever practical our people are now working from home, but they are of course still available if you need to speak with them. All of our people have their direct dial contact telephone numbers published on our website. If you know to whom you need to speak, then you can use their direct dial numbers to contact them. If you are not sure whom you should contact, then please contact our receptions staff who remain available to help.

If you would prefer to email us then you can send enquiries to any team member via his or her personal profile page on the Rix & Kay website. You can also send enquiries via any of our service area pages. If you are still not sure whom to email then please send your enquiry to enquiries@rixandkay.co.uk

Face-to-face meetings / video conferencing

We understand that many people will want to meet with us in person and if it is necessary then we will of course make suitable arrangements wherever possible. We have however invested significantly in recent times in the latest audio and video conferencing technology. The technology is accessible via an app that we can provide to any device with a camera such as a smart-phone, tablet of laptop, so if you want to talk to us face-to-face then this is straightforward.

We ask that people avoid visiting our offices during this time.

Rix & Kay events

Unfortunately, we have decided to postpone all future Rix & Kay events until further notice. This includes our regular regional networking events and our training seminars. This measure is temporary and will be kept under constant review.

Security and confidentiality

We have, for a number of years, maintained an agile working policy across the firm and the security and confidentiality of information is embedded into our agile working practices. During this period in which our agile working will increase, our levels of security and confidentiality will remain of the highest order.

Whilst these are uncertain and worrying times, Rix & Kay is committed to doing everything it can to support everyone we work with. If you need to contact us for any reason then please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Dedicated Covid-19 support and advice blog
