Specialist trusts and wills dispute lawyer, Alistair Rustemeyer has become a full member of ACTAPS, (Association of Contentious Trust & Probate Specialists) and one of only a few fully certified lawyers in the region who can provide specialist advice and support to clients who need guidance on trusts and wills disputes.
Commenting on his accreditation, Alistair said,
“Trusts and Wills Disputes are on the rise as people are beginning to understand that, if specialist advice is sought, then successful claims can be achieved. It’s an extremally niche area of law so I’m delighted to have been recognised for the work that I do in helping people settle disputes that can often seem unachievable in the first instance”.
Alistair has over 25 years of experience as a litigator and has a strong reputation for helping individuals and HNW individuals who may want to challenge a will or trust, to secure a quicker and more cost-effective resolution of a dispute. He also advises upon disputes between beneficiaries, trustees, personal representatives and executors on claims including breach of trusts, validity of wills, financial provision and negligence claims against professionals responsible for estate administration.
His cases include disputes between cohabiting couples including applications under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996 (TLATA) and he advises on contentious probate matters including claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975.
