Rix & Kay’s audit confirms highest levels of quality standards

Rix & Kay is pleased to announce that the firm has maintained its ISO 9001 quality standard following its annual audit by the Centre for Assessment, the accredited certification body providing certification audits against several recognised quality marks. The audit also confirms Rix & Kay’s compliance with the LawNet Quality Standard and Solicitors Regulation Authority Code of Conduct.

ISO 9001 is the international standard for a quality management system and is used by organisations to demonstrate their ability to consistently provide services that meet customer and regulatory requirements and to demonstrate continuous improvement.

Rix & Kay’s completed audit highlighted numerous areas of good practice. In particular, the firm was praised for its approach to leadership and regular communication to staff throughout recent lockdown periods, enabling teams to work from home whilst maintaining the highest levels of client service.

Another area highlighted by the Centre for Assessment included the firm’s approach to people development and recruitment. Points of note were clear succession planning, Rix & Kay’s approach to promoting staff from within, cascading of training and organisational knowledge throughout the business and its engagement with the Government Apprenticeship and Kickstart schemes.

Rix & Kay was also praised for its Corporate Social Responsibility agenda, its active engagement in community initiatives and raising awareness of wider social and environmental challenges.

Rix & Kay continues to work closely with Sacha Dench supporting the Round Britain Climate Challenge and has actively participated in Count Us In  – an initiative to reduce carbon emissions and help fight climate change.

Kathryn Paisley, who leads Rix & Kay’s Corporate Team and is the firm’s Compliance Office for Legal Practice commented,

“As always, everyone at Rix & Kay can be very proud of themselves. The firm works hard to achieve the highest levels of quality standards and continues to work hard to be even better than we already are. We achieved no non-compliances, minor or major, which is really very good indeed. Quality in all areas, including client service, remains an objective of the firm and we will continue to build on those areas of good practice”.
