Regional law firm, Rix & Kay with offices across Sussex and Kent will continue to invest in the town of Seaford and provide the full range of legal services to clients, despite announcing the closure of its Seaford office.
The decision comes following a review of Rix & Kay’s business operations against the backdrop of the ongoing pandemic and, in particular, the use of technology that has proven hugely effective in supporting clients from Seaford and surrounding areas during the last twelve months when Rix & Kay’s Seaford office was unable to open.
Richard Cripps, Managing Partner of Rix & Kay commented,
“The ongoing Pandemic has fundamentally changed the way we do business and in many instances this change has been positive. We have shown that we do not need to have a physical office in Seaford in order to continue to provide our usual high quality service to its residents and business community. All our clients and contacts will continue to be served, making use of video calling technology wherever possible, home visits should they be necessary, and will be supported from our other offices in Brighton & Hove and Uckfield that continue to remain open”.
“The overriding message is that if anyone needs our support then Rix & Kay is here to help. We remain flexible in the way we engage and meet with our clients ensuring the people we work with receive a service that is both responsive and convenient for them”.
Rix & Kay remain committed to serving Seaford and will continue to invest in the town and surrounding areas whist maintaining its role as a trusted member of the regional business community, working closely with and supporting local businesses and organisations who, themselves, provide vital services to the community, such as local estate agents, Seaford Rugby Club and Seaford Chamber of Commerce, whom Rix & Kay have provided financial and legal support to for many years.
Rix & Kay’s Seaford office formally closed on 25th February 2021.
