Rix & Kay boosts employee engagement using Idea Drop

Rix & Kay reports a huge boost in employee engagement since introducing Idea Drop software last year.

The innovative software utilises ideas from employees to improve ways of working. All employees have access to the system and can submit ideas online via desktop or the mobile app. Since its introduction, more than 90% of colleagues have used the Idea Drop, resulting in 3,200 interactions. To date, 200 ideas were submitted, of which 76% have been implemented.

“Prior to Idea Drop, we had no central place for feedback and ideas. With over 110 team members working across five regional offices and with a mission to ‘make law easy’ for both our clients and our colleagues, we needed to find a better way of bringing forward the many innovative ideas for improving efficiencies and client service that we knew our colleagues would have. Idea Drop has been invaluable in doing this and we now have greater visibility of the challenges they face, and can offer solutions based on their recommendations.

Although it’s still early days, we’ve already seen a positive uplift in employee engagement and morale levels, and expect it will impact on retention levels too.”

Idea Drop’s success is based on its user-friendly interface and all-inclusive approach. It gives employees a voice and opportunity to shape their organisation. Managers can even post specific challenges, inviting team members to contribute.
