Rix & Kay has today announced the appointment of Tim Sadka who joins the firm’s rapidly growing and highly regarded corporate practice. Tim is one of the most respected corporate lawyers in the South East, with more than 25 years experience in the regional market, a string of high profile awards and is recognised as a leading individual by Chambers and Partners 2017.
Tim joins from Rawlison Butler, where he led their Corporate and Commercial Team for the last 17 years and held the role of Managing Partner between 2002 – 2010.
The move completes a significant milestone in Rix & Kay’s growth strategy to provide comprehensive, full service corporate advice throughout Sussex and Kent that offers clients real cost benefits and a compelling alternative to the so called regional powerhouses that they may have used in the past.
Rix & Kay’s Corporate Team now has eleven professionals including five partners and two associates.
Commenting on his appointment, Tim commented,
“As an extremely ambitious individual, I wanted to join a firm that was able to compliment my own aspirations and allow me to remain active in the market. Rix & Kay’s corporate team are serious players – they have completed deals with a collective value in excess of £100 million in the last 12 months – so I’m confident that my level of expertise and the quality I can bring to the table will help the firm to continue to grow, particularly in the Gatwick Diamond and London where Rix & Kay have traditionally been less active”.
Richard Cripps, Managing Partner of Rix & Kay commented,
“I think that our ability to attract someone of Tim’s quality and experience speaks for itself. Rix & Kay provide the very best legal expertise delivered by the very best lawyers but in a way that differentiates ourselves from the larger corporate law firms. We are hugely ambitious, we want to grow, but we will do so without compromising our client service value. Our appointment of Tim and his approach to client service is totally consistent with that”.
