Contracts and handbooks

Our Employment team can assist you with preparing employment contracts and handbooks. If the employer has atypical workers such as casual workers and the self-employed, they need to carefully consider how the employment contracts and employee handbooks should be drafted.

Employment T&Cs

An employer is required to give all of its employees a statement of terms and conditions of employment within two months after the beginning of their employment. Whilst failure to provide the statement does not provide an employee with a stand-alone claim in the Employment Tribunal, if they are successful in other types of claim then it could increase the penalty if the statement of terms has not been given.
