Advising marketing agency on Employee Ownership Trust

Rix & Kay’s Corporate Team advised the owners of Action Communications Group Ltd, a full-service marketing agency specialising in the fitness and wellness industries, on its transfer of ownership to an Employee Ownership Trust (“EOT”).

Sale of local independent fuel distributor

The acquisition of Geoff Boorman Fuels is the latest of NWF’s ongoing growth strategy and builds on their successful acquisition and integration of 18 fuel companies into the business in the last 27 years. The sale to NWF will see the wider team remain as the foundation of the business in Edenbridge, Kent.

Sale of family owned manufacturer to global export business

The deal follows the sale of Mason Plastics, in which Rix & Kay’s team advised the owners on their 100% share capital sale, which was completed smoothly.

Sale of a highly-regarded learning disability care home in East Sussex

The deal follows the original purchase of the care home in 2002 when Rix & Kay’s team advised the same owners on their original acquisition. Over the course of 20 years, the care home has flourished into a successful business before being passed into new ownership earlier this year.
