Corporate structures, partnerships and LLPs
Rix & Kay’s corporate lawyers have an established track record of implementing new corporate structures for businesses that are looking to improve business performance and operations as an alternative to conventional merger and acquisition activity.
The team also have extensive experience of supporting clients who are considering wider reaching business reorganisations.
Our corporate lawyers extend across Sussex, Kent, Surrey and London, working collaboratively with tax and other advisors to identify the most appropriate corporate structure for a business to adopt, to ensure it can operate efficiently and is best placed to remain sustainable and deliver growth.
We work with the owners of businesses to establish all the options available based on a full appreciation of the commercial objectives of a business and taking account of any relevant regulatory and tax framework.
We are focused on finding solutions which best meet our client’s strategic objectives and delivering on a timely basis. Our clients range from limited companies (predominantly SME and Mid Market), companies limited by guarantee, unlimited companies and community interest companies to LLPs, LPs and partnerships. We build teams to support clients and involve colleagues from real estate, employment and private client where this compliments the efforts of the corporate team and the needs of clients.
Partnerships and LLPs
We also collaborate with our employment team to offer Partnerships and LLPs (or individuals belonging to partnerships and LLPs) advice around contentious and non-contentious issues. We have established a strong track record of advising professional service businesses on full merger and acquisition.
We have particular expertise in supporting professional service businesses including accountants, dentists and GPs, financial services, lawyers and solicitors, medical, and property surveyors who wish to convert to an LLP status.
