Planning applications, appeals and inquiries

Our lawyers can help applicants to plot a development strategy from application through to grant – or challenge should that become necessary.

We can advise on all aspects of the process including reviewing a draft planning application for compliance with the local authority’s requirements; testing the screening and assessment of proposals under European legislation; technical aspects of submission including the identity of the applicant and extending time beyond statutory deadlines.

Should an appeal be necessary we can convert a draft s106 agreement into unilateral format, help you reappraise your negotiating position before submitting an appeal and liaise with the Planning Inspectorate to stand the best chance of getting the preferred format of appeal.
