Working with local charities across Sussex and Kent

Our work is not simply about delivering expert legal solutions for charities. We play a proactive role in promoting the fantastic work that they do by engaging in their day-to-day activities and helping to drive forward their longer-term priorities. Our work ranges from acting as professional trustees to pro-bono work. We help numerous local charities across Sussex and Kent to drive forward new initiatives, by bringing together support from the many trusted contacts we have in the local and wider business communities.

For many regional charities across Sussex and Kent, we are their trusted legal advisors as well as a sounding board that allows them to ‘sense-check’ their day-to-day operations and wider strategic objectives.

Legal support for charities

Much of our work centres around ensuring charities can operate cost-effectively, whilst reducing any unnecessary exposure to financial and reputational risk. Our advice ranges from setting up tax efficient charitable status and advising on sensitive employee issues including the use of volunteers, to ensuring charities are managing their property assets efficiently.
