Work experience through our community partner, Uckfield College
Rix & Kay provides a dedicated work experience program through our community partnership with Uckfield College for A-level students or equivalent.
The program, which runs in January each year, provides an opportunity for students to spend a week working alongside our legal and support teams in the firm’s Uckfield office. The program provides students with an understanding of what to expect from a career in the law and will support them in making choices for their future careers.
Students of Uckfield College can apply through their dedicated Aspirations Leader, Stephanie Aguilera.
Individual student applications
Rix & Kay runs a Summer work experience programme that is open to individual students. The program takes place in the firm’s Uckfield office and covers the same schedule as our community partner program with Uckfield College (above). Our summer work experience program normally takes place in June each year.
To apply for a work experience placement on our Summer program, students are asked to complete and submit an an application form.
Please note that applications for our Summer Program 2025 are now closed and placements have already been awarded. Applications for Summer 2026 will open in January 2026. Details of how to apply will be published here in due course.
