Rix & Kay’s audit confirms highest levels of quality standards
Rix & Kay is delighted to announce that the firm has successfully maintained its ISO 9001 quality standards certification following a surveillance visit by the Centre for Assessment. The audit, which took two days to complete, highlights the firm’s consistent ability to deliver services that meet both client and regulatory requirements. It also confirms Rix & Kay’s adherence to the LawNet Quality Standard and the Solicitors Regulation Authority Codes of Conduct.
ISO 9001 is the international standard for quality management systems, used by organisations to demonstrate their capability to consistently provide services that meet customer and regulatory requirements, as well as their commitment to continuous improvement.
Rix & Kay’s completed audit highlighted multiple and diverse areas of good practice, which included outstanding employee supervision and pastoral care; stringent security measures to protect client money in residential conveyancing transactions; high levels of client satisfaction; the firm’s active engagement in combating climate change; and the firm’s layered induction process for new staff.
The firm’s leadership was also praised for the firmwide away day held to seek colleagues’ views on AI and other changes, the whole-firm bonus scheme and the way in which they listened to colleague feedback, which prompted a change in KPIs.
Reflecting on the firm’s performance and management processes, the independent auditor remarked that Rix & Kay maintained ‘tip top management systems’ and that its employees were ‘superb interviewees’.
