Updates
Since the filming of this webinar, some of the laws mentions have changed.
The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) have issued a consultation paper in regard to their new Guidance on sexual harassment and harassment at work. The existing Guidance is being updated to take account of the new law in October. The EHRC proposed Guidance states that the law ‘requires employers to take reasonable steps to prevent sexual harassment of workers by third parties, such as clients and customers’. It includes further details. This is more than was anticipated by those watching the passing of the new law.
Watch this space. Our advice is to ensure that your business is ready for the new law.
At Rix & Kay Solicitors we can keep you up to date with all the latest changes.
