Rix & Kay is, once again, supporting Active Sussex and their Sussex Sport & Physical Activity Awards 2023. The firm’s continued support, which now enters its 15th consecutive year, sees Rix & Kay sponsoring the Inclusion and Diversity award and underlines its commitment to promoting inclusion and diversity within the communities it serves.

The Awards, that take place on Thursday 30 November 2023, will showcase the very best of community sports achievements across Sussex, with awards for multiple categories. The shortlisted nominations for the Inclusion and Diversity Award are Parable Dance, Maidenbower Colts Football Club, and Defiant Sports.

Angela Arnold, Partner and Head of Residential Property at Rix & Kay Solicitors, who will present the Inclusion and Diversity award commented,

“Rix & Kay have a strong tradition of promoting inclusion and diversity across all walks of life, from grass-roots sports, education and of course in the workplace.

“We have supported Active Sussex and the Sussex Sport & Physical Activity Awards for many years and we’re proud to continue our association again in 2023.

“The work Active Sussex does to promote inclusion and diversity is vital. Their efforts and initiatives make a massive difference to so many communities across the region.”

Ed Bartram, Regional Project and Events Officer at Active Sussex, said: “We must say a huge thank you to Rix & Kay for their ongoing support, which stretches back for as long as I can remember.

“Not only does their sponsorship allow us to host a fantastic evening, but it also helps us to showcase and champion those within the community who are changing lives through their work.

“The Inclusion and Diversity Award, which is an area of work Rix & Kay are so passionate about, is a fine example of this.

“Their support allows us to reach a little further, shout a little louder and, hopefully, inspire even more people to overcome their own barriers to become physically active”.
