10th March was a day to remember for Rix & Kay. Our Corporate Team demonstrated in style why our clients come to us again and again for swift, commercial, insightful and proactive advice. Our Corporate Team was delighted to have been involved in closing three separate M&A transactions on 10th March, all of which were subject to that particular deadline over market concerns for what Chancellor Rishi Sunak might do to entrepreneur’s relief in his budget of today.
Even more remarkably, two of the transactions that reached completion yesterday were from a standing start in the early part of the previous week. Partners Bruce Hayter, Tim Sadka, Kathryn Paisley and Consultant Alan Zeal were all involved, alongside associate Ravinder Barn, solicitor Jamie Tavares, trainee Shehla Pirwany and paralegal Christiana McKeown – and of course the invaluable support staff without whom transactions of this nature would never reach closing!
The team is tired but proud, the clients are thrilled – one was heard to say how professional and pleasant the team had been to deal with and how we had guided him through from start to finish – and almost needless to say Rishi Sunak didn’t do as much damage to entrepreneur’s relief in today’s budget speech as had been feared!
If you would like to deal with a corporate and commercial team that is dynamic, proactive, agile and has its clients’ best interests at heart, please do not hesitate to get in touch with Kathryn Paisley via email on kathrynpaisley@rixandkay.co.uk or call 01825 744447.
