Leasing premises on Industrial Estates in East Sussex – What you need to know

East Sussex is home to a vast number of industrial estates of varying sizes. Some of them, like the Bellbrook Industrial Estate in Uckfield or the Diplocks Way Industrial Estate in nearby Hailsham, consist of almost 200 units whereas others, like the local Ridgewood Estate or the Wadhurst Business Park contain less than 20.

If you’re looking to take a lease over a unit on any industrial estate, it is essential that you instruct a Solicitor who has experience and knowledge of the estate in question. In the vast majority of cases, all the individual units on these estates will be let by Landlords on practically identical terms. So instructing a Solicitor who knows the terms of the leases inside-out, will save you considerable time and of course money. In addition, they will be in a position to quickly advise on any risks inherent in entering into a lease and any scope for negotiation.
