Miranda Martin

Miranda is a Partner in the Employment LawTeam. She joined Rix & Kay in 2007 to strengthen what is already acknowledged as a well respected specialist team. She qualified as a solicitor in 1989 and has specialised in employment law since 1993. She is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.

Miranda deals with all areas of employment law and has practised both in the private and public sectors and has acted both for household names and vulnerable individuals. She therefore is well placed to understand the needs of both employers and employees when giving advice and to provide practical solutions to problems.

Her particular area of expertise is in the field of discrimination and
business reorganisations and transfers. She regularly undertakes her own advocacy in the Employment Tribunals, speaks frequently at seminars and has lectured at Brighton University.

Miranda is a trustee of MACCS (Money Advice and Community Support Service), a money advice charity based in Brighton.

Miranda is fanatical about golf and is also a keen skier and windsurfer.
