Commercial Property

Our Commercial Property Unit is a specialist team within our Commercial Department, working exclusively for clients looking to acquire or sell property for business purposes. The team works closely with colleagues in the Company Commercial and Commercial Litigation Departments, and also brings in expertise from other specialists within the firm to advise on tax and other matters.
Acting for buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants, local authorities, and private investors, we have been involved in a huge variety of projects, including:

• Property acquisitions and disposals for major utilities
• Licensing and property work for pubs, hotels, and restaurants
• Property and partnership negotiations for dental and other professional practices, including NHS contract work
• Creating investment property portfolios for private and corporate clients
• Drafting and negotiating new leases, renewing and terminating existing agreements, and advising on rent reviews, management control, investment values and security of tenure
