Rix & Kay aim to be the best provider of legal services within our area and we recognise that the way to achieve this is to ensure we have competent, well trained and motivated staff. As Investors in People, we are fully committed to supporting the aspirations of our employees, however they choose to develop their career within the firm. New staff receive in-depth induction training with our in-house IT Trainer to help them become valued members of their teams. Our user-friendly case management system is regularly upgraded to keep up with the demands of our expanding caseload. Our Trainer is kept busy honing the IT skills of staff at all levels, be they Partners, fee earners or support staff. As the firm continues to grow and develop, we are constantly looking for forward-thinking, competent people to join our specialist legal teams. Applicants wanting a new challenge or direction from outside the firm are always welcome, but we also encourage our existing employees to develop their skills and expertise. Many of those who joined us as support staff have progressed to gain a nationally recognised legal qualification and we have also implemented a Management Development Programme. The Management Development Programme has different entry levels for existing Partners; new Partners; Solicitors and Team Leaders and the firm is also accredited to run our own in-house CPD programmes. We are proud of all those who have undertaken their training with Rix & Kay and are very pleased that they remain with us after their training and become valued members of our specialist teams.
